EXECUTIVE CHEF KRIS
Kris is not only a truly skilled chef, but a culinary enthusiast as well. A strong advocate of fresh and local ingredients; their ability unmatched in producing the flavor of a region. He’s passionate about Texas’ specific contribution to southern cuisine and the way it has been shaped by the popular ingredients and products that were born here in our great state- you’ll taste it in his signature dishes like the Dr. Pepper Braised Beef and Shiner Brined Chicken.
When Kris isn’t throwing down in our kitchen, you’re likely to find him at the farmers market with his family where he supports local farmers and purveyors of fine foods, and also sells his own deliciously flaky biscuits.
SOUS CHEF MARK
Mark has been cooking for over 20 years. What began as just a job in a pizza shop blossomed into a deep love of food, culture and flavor. Mark enjoys working with his hands and is truly an artist- owning a ceramics studio for 7 years and then returning to the culinary world to bake before his path crossed with Dora Lane’s. He is driven by his passion, his creativity and the simple desire to feed people. Outside of our kitchen, you might find him playing tabletop games with his lovely wife, Emily, and/or teaching his kids to be awesome.
